The Centre of Arab and Mediterranean Music and the « Makamet » association organize a musical performance that pays tribute to the great master of Tunisian Music, Salah el Mahdi, on Saturday November 22nd, 2014 at 8PM (20:00) at the Ennejma Ezzahra palace, with the contribution of Sofien Zaidi, Rihab Sghaier and Asma Ben Ahmed.

The renowned musician, Salah El Mehdi, passed away on Friday September 12th at the age of 89. Ziriab, as he was called by the Tunisian press, was an outstanding artist. He contributed immensely to the Tunisian musical scene, as he was the one to discover several figures of Tunisian chanson.
