Bakat

Following two years of eclipse, Musicians from Tunisia is back. The sixth edition, which will take place over two weekends starting May 30 at the Ennejma Ezzahra palace looks, like its predecessors, rich in musical projects, reflecting the dynamics of the current musical scene in Tunisia and the diversity of the musical expressions and trends that animate it.

Launched in May 2007, this annual musical demonstration had, throughout its five first editions, offered the opportunity to a number of Tunisian musicians - composers and performers alike - to present their musical projects (no less than 56) and to deepen their artistic ideas.

The public was also charmed by this demonstration that offered a strong programme dedicated exclusively to Tunisian musicians, in a privileged setting with excellent listening conditions.

Starting from the 2nd edition, the lineup of the festival was enriched by a tribute to a central figure of Tunisian music, taking form into a documentary exposition and a tribute concert serving as a closing stage for the demonstration. On the list of honoured musicians, you can find the composer and conductor Qaddour Srarfi, the maestro Abdul Hamid Bel-Aljiya and the composer, lyricist and singer Jammoussi.

Wannes Khlijène presents a show entitled « Bakat », a concert of lyrical songs written for a quartet composed of a Soprano, Baryton, Piano and Double bass interpreted by four talented musicians, with the contribution of Henda Ben Chaaben and Haythem Hadhiri.
