The Diwan Ensemble was created in 2014 by an initiative made by Ramzi Aburedwan. The ensemble comprises some talented Palestinian musicians. Diwan ensemble works on and presents a large variety of Classic and Folkloric Arab and Palestinian music, as well as some original compositions. With this performance entitled “forgiveness”, we are particularly immersed in Sufi and spiritual traditions, whereby the repertoire of Hallaj, ibn Arabi, Rumi, Abu Baker Shirazi, Taqi aldeen al-Serouji, Imam al-Busiri, Bahâ’uddîn Naqshband, Ibn al-Fârid and many others will be explored.

Alia Sellami with the group Vocal Aloes: This concert which is of great originality, unites 5 magnificent voices around a repertoire of sacred chants a capella from all over the world. It is thus surprising to conclude that, from the depths of Africa to the rivers of the Mediterranean, and from Asia to the heart of America, the music of different peoples and the way they sing their god or gods are similar. Nafass, a fascinating and moving journey in the cultures and hearts of men and of in that which unites them.

His rich repertoire is immersed in the heritage of religious chants as well as new compositions and arrangements that are closer to popular music than to the world of sacred chants. QAMAR’EL NABI has become a famous song , known by all throughout the Arab world and it always accompanies his multiple apparitions on Egyptian TV channels.
