From Sahrawi origins, Oum El Ghait Benessahroui, known as Oum, is a multifaceted artist born in Casablanca and raised in Marrakesh. Her songs are a mix of soul and melodic and rhythmic twists that find their origins in African, touareg or jazzy music, all completed with Hassanya poetry from the Moroccan desert culture.
